Mid Week here in Craig Montana. Snow yesterday, some more today,a dn threat of more tomorrow. Not a lot, but some. Sloppiy and super wet snow fell in the canyon and Craig to create a sloppy mess. Boat ramps should be fine today, but always check before you head out.
Flows jerking around as seen on chart. Water temps moving higher as we move through the month ahead.
BWO’s making their trip through the water towards the surface soon. 39F today. Movement at 42F and beyond.
Midge around and are willing to play.
Pretty quiet this week on the river. Nice.
Weekends and sunny days bring out the anglers.
New web site on the horizon. Our 17th Birthday on Friday of this week. We will celebrate you, the customer. Thanks in advance of your next visit. Open daily at 8am.
Swingers enjoying a bit of a jump in action as the water temps move forward. Pretty skinny in many locales and a good time to mentally map out the river. Yep, if you kn\ow the structures, the subsurface structures, you can use that knowledge to your advantage. Take a drive, and a walk, and view and witness and learn about the river you often cannot see/view.
Learning is good.
Happy Hump Day in Craig.
