Help cure cancer and go guided for free? Sounds like a win win. You’ve got a guest blogger today ladies and gents, Headhunters guide Ben Hardy here (picture above), writing from the tropical Bahamas. Here’s the deal. My younger brother Jon and his wife Shannon are running the Boston Marathon together on April 21. In order to officially run the Boston Marathon, a runner must be either, a. extremely fast or b. fundraise through an official charity.
While Jon and Shannon are pretty fast, they’re gonna raise a whole bunch of money for cancer research and jog their 26 miles. This is where you and I come in. Until April 21st, every donation of $25 made on their fundraising website – who lists “Headunters FlyShop” as their “company name” – will be entered into a drawing for two days of guided fishing with yours truly, along with two nights lodging at the Craig Trout Camp. You pick the dates, as long as I’m available and the lodging is available. Pretty awesome deal really. Give a few bucks towards cancer research and you could win a few free days of fishing on the Missouri.
If you’ve got any questions about It, email Ben at theriverwhy81@yahoo.com, Or just do some donating folks!
Here’s the links to their fundraising pages. Thanks so much for helping out a great cause!!!

I could not be prouder of these two runners and of Headhunters and of course Ben Hardy. Cancer takes away so many lives it can be stopped! So happy about the passion of compassionate people and a company willing to make the effort to raise money for this cause.
Awesome. You fellas are really the only ones giving back in the community. It’s one thing to give size small out of date clothing to an auction, but you guys give back all the time! Those other two shops…not really. I’m in for a donation. Thanks Headhunters, Ben, Shannon, and Jon!
HeadHunters really is something!! Thank you to each and every one of you for your support, generosity, and spreading the word. Jon and I couldn’t do it alone 🙂
