Missouri River Fishing Report 5.21.18
Missouri River Flows
15K-ish and holding I will call Stephanie Micek again this morning and find out what the latest scoop on the water situation is. But I suspect it will be the same as last time we got the inside line. 15K and holding.
As we have mentioned before
Inflows at Toston not over the top yet. Looks pretty stable right now. Lake Levels are at 81%. 4 weeks to go for the fill. Keep it tuned here for the latest and current updates on all thing Missouri River water.
Missouri River Nymphs
Worms. Sows. Big attractor bugs subsurface. Lots of split shot.
Fish in or fish out. 4′-6′ outside in bobber to a split. 6′-9′ inside out with 2 or ore split.
Dry Flies?
Not much happening. Look hard. You can bump into a couple. Way back, in the brush. Chugging.
What to Expect this Week
Water at about 15K. As you see above it may be relatively static. You can expect it to be pretty much the same for the next couple weeks. Unless the heavens open above and bring rain. Lots. Then things will change.
Watch the Sun River downstream of us. The water managers cannot push 30K through Great Falls. That would be bad.
Fishing is good, consistent and fun. Clean water. Not too much mud being tossed from LPP or the Dearborn. Fish anywhere.

This is a great flush for the river! Long term this is awesome for this river!
