Rise. Herb Albert.
A big tune in ’79. I remember it well. Great title as well. Although no connection with the rise (forms) we like.
I also love(d) Tijuana Taxi from ’65. My folks had that LP. I wore it out.
Little known SOL factoid is that I was the Outstanding Music Student of my High School Grad Class. I was no Herb Albert though. Blowin’ the trumpet, the double French Horn, thumpin’ the bass guitar, singin’ in a jazz trio, consequently named Smoked Fish, laying down jazz standards to all who would listen.
But skiing and fishing for a living was the direction I took and never looked back.
Hope I made the right choice?
Happy Sunday. Enjoy Herb Albert and his Tijuana Brass. Dance a little.

Mike McDermott: “If you had to do it all over again, would you make the same choices?”
Professor Petrovsky (Martin Landau): “What choice.”
Hah! Love it.
The cover of “Whipped Cream and Other Delights” changed many lives in the 60’s.
Yes you made the right choice.
Know it well. Helped my life Steve! And I think so too. Happy as a clam.
