Upper river for nymphing has not been producing as we normally see in later August. Lots of anglers in the fast, choppy, moving waters.

Weeds? Yes. About a 5 on the Mo River Weed Scale.

Nymphers on the Zirdle, mostly with action. A dead drift river where you can now, move the fly. Next month? Back to the dead drift thing and sow bugs, BWO’s, Pseudo’s…

Strippers? Oh yeah. They are getting them. Pop those weeds off and toss it, strip it, fish it.
