Friday July 10th Fishing Report
Water levels just a hair above 7K. Not scheduled to fall today, but would not surprise us if it did. The water levels will follow the inflows, downward as we move through the month. Check out the incoming flows here for an up to date look at our water situation.
Water temps are 61F. Great for PMD, Caddis, and soon to be Trico action.
Trico’s? See a few in the am. Not yet exploded. Soon. Any day, any moment, anytime.
PMD’s. Cripples, and spinners. Spinners ruling the day recently.
Caddis. Emerging and skittering. Tape wing, Stocking Wing, Translucent Emerger, soft hackles, Buzzballs, Missing Links. Any CDC caddis pattern like the Double Duck, Corn Fed, Palmered, Henry’s Fork, etc.
Nymphers. Caddis Pupa with a PMD hanging from it. 4-6′ and fast water. Water temps keeping he fish active. Seams yes. Mid river yes. Soft sides? Nope.
Weekend ahead is looking like summer. Get out to the river and play. Weather looks great. Open daily 7am.
