Hump Day in Montana

Hump Day in Montana

Personally thinking about the future today here in Craig. Conservation took a hit yesterday locally and nationally. Public Lands will be in question, human rights, and even our opportunities to recreate in one of the greatest states in the Union.

And that’s all that will be said about that. We will continue the fight here locally. Volunteering and understanding the battles we can win, influence, or otherwise help with. Respecting every opinion and slant with understanding and hope. And going about our daily life with the mantra of human and natural goodness.

Practicing casting, promoting the outdoor life, and picking up garbage along the (any) shoreline, metaphorically, is what we can do.

And you? What can you do? The same. Help, hug,  and love others around you. Become a mentor for youth and families experiencing the rivers we love. Exhibiting behavior that is becoming of an outdoors person.

Smiling. Smiling is good for the soul. It is good for your heart.

That is what we are doing. Whether you are happy about your local election results or not. Moving forward with the want, need, and desire for goodness. Do good today, and tomorrow, and it will rub off on those around you.

Smiling. It helps heal us.

Hump Day in Montana.

    Thanks, Mark!
I will continue to support your business, however others are on the chopping block.
The grieving process is in full swing.
    All the very best,

    Thank you.

  • Three simple rules:
    1. Do the right thing
    2. Do your absolute best / No excuses / Get it done
    3. Treat others the way you’d like to be treated – bring integrity and inclusivity – all have value and a role

great thoughts for the troubling times ahead . thanks for all you do .

  • Thanks Mark! You lifted my spirit! Protection of our natural resources, our lands, our waterways and access to them was high on my list of voting priorities. We took a hit, but we wont give up. Too much at stake for us and our kids, grandkids. Fly fishing frees my soul and I refuse to let politicians kill my passion. I’ll become more active in helping to fight against greed. We pull together!

  • Really?

  • I’m sorry I must have missed something, Was there some new law about public lands, human rights, and opportunities for recreation?
