March is for Midgers

This morning snowing lightly. 12F. No wind. Quite nice.

Highs all week long will not reach out of the 30’s. This weekend ahead may bring some pleasant daytime temps.

But, midgies do not mind the cold. Or the wind for that matter.

So therefore this is a good day for them. Not so much for us here in central Montana.

A good day to dream about sunshine and warm weather and hatches.
