SA Textured Shooting Line

HEADHUNTERS SAYS: This is the favorite coated spey shooting line around the shop. We use both mono and traditional coated lines, but we’ve always leaned towards the latter. Coated lines tangle less, catch fewer weeds and are way easier to handle when we’re imparting action to our fly while trout fishing with our spey rods. The SA textured line tangles less than it’s competitors, shoots farther and faster, and is the right compromise in diameter for both distance casting and handling. A little on the spendy side, but we feel it is more than worth it if you want to use a coated shooting line on your troutspey rod. Use the green 20lb/.032 for troutspey applications, and the orange 25lb/.035 for Steelhead.
