HEADHUNTERS SAYS Trouthunter Tippet gains more fans every season. Both the nylon and flourocarbon are very strong materials that out-perform their specs on the water. Trouthunter tippet is available in limited “half” sizes (4.5X, 5.5X, etc.), which makes it very popular on technical waters like the Missouri. We trust it because it was developed on the Henry’s Fork by flatwater master Rene Harrop. If you look in Guides boat bags, you’ll see a lot of Trouthunter Tippet, and that speaks volumes. Trouthunter continues to offer their bombproof Flourocarbon, and for 2018 their new EVO Nylon which is stronger and more abrasion resistant than the already excellent original.
