#TBT Hardy Bougle
Throwback Tuesday with Jim Arkin’s Hardy Bougle.
He loves this reel. And had it by his side fishing the Mo for nearly 20 years.
Happy Thursday. What is your favorite reel?

Hardy Marquis. Had it about 35 years
Pflueger Medalist. Wide spool.
Teton Tioga – almost 20 yrs old and still whipping chrome and trout, smallies! Classic cool look too. Drag is still very good.

Hardy St George. A sentimental, not functional, favorite. Jack Hemingway gave it to me. He said it was the prettiest sounding reel he had ever own, and he had owned hundreds over a long lifetime of fishing.
Scientific Anglers System 5 reel made by Hardy in England. I have fished this reel hard since the early 70’s (almost 50 years). just got it back from Archuleta’s Reel Works. Bill did a great job removing end play and repairing a dent in my extra spool
