Fishing is good. June is good. We are in the peak season right now. Time is now, Now is the time.
PMD’s daily. Never saw more PMD’s on the water than yesterday afternoon. This author is experiencing his 34th PMD season. So, that is monumental. A killer experience. Unreal, really.
Rained all day long. Most anglers either did not fish, or fished a bit int he am before becoming too cold to fish. I understand.
I also understand being prepared for the Rocky Man Experience with appropriate clothing. And understand that the spoils of war, are good.
Very few anglers made it past noon. Those who did, capitalized.
Fish rising. Lots, and lots, and lots.
By the way, PMD’s love the Rain and wind. Why? Ohh, ask a local why he spent 500 dollars on a killer rain jacket.
Answer: For the PMD hatch.
Prep is the most important portion of the dry fly game. YEs, the prep.
Old Bull, Young Bull parable. Look it up. Understand this concept.
Then implement.
