Lots and lots of anglers nymphing for the daytime period. This is common in today’s fly rod world. We are experiencing a very good dry fly bite. If you at all want to discover the joys of dry fly fishing, and have thick skin, and love the game of fly fishing and understand that there are a few ways to enjoy this game, then dry fly fishing, even if it blind fishing, following the dry fly down the river, analogous to bobber fishing, following the bobber down the river…this could be your year man. Yes, the Missouri was once known for its dynamite dry fly fishing. Yep, true.
Frenchie and his friends are good bets for the nymph. Small and dark PT derivations will get you there. Come by the shop and explore the vast Perdition, Quilldigon, Headhunter-digon, Dijon-Digon, I-dig-yer-digon, and more!
Streamer and swing anglers taking a break and tossing the dry fly.
Headhunter Fly Line in Stock, V2, it’s killer and only 80 bucks. Designed for the advanced Dry Fly Angler looking for a fantastic powerful and accurate dry fly line. Only available at Headhunters of Craig.
Busy out there. Weekends with heat will bring lots of floaters. Be kind, rewind. Boat ramp niceties are good behavior.
Shop open at 6am. Come in and visit, ask questions, get a shuttle and T-Shirt. Stickers too.
