Missouri River Shuttle Service

Headhunters has been providing vehicle shuttles for floaters since we opened our doors. We have built a reputation as the most reliable shuttle service on the Missouri River. Unlike others, we’re open all year. We do shuttles late in the day and in the evening. We try not to make mistakes, but a few are inevitable. Sometimes our fault, sometimes yours. Either way, if there is a mistake or confusion, we try to rectify the situation as quickly as possible and get you on your way. If you need a shuttle, stop by the shop or give us a call.

How it Works

  1. You let us know where you’re starting and where you want to end. You do this by coming in the shop and filling out a “shuttle form”. You will need to provide your name, address, contact information, vehicle type, year and license plate. We also need to know when you are putting on, and when you plan on taking off.

  2. You drive to the put in and launch your boat. Don’t forget to leave your keys in the location you specify to us!

  3. We move your vehicle to the take out while you are floating.

And here’s a few tips to reduce confusion and mistakes…

  • Did you give us the correct set of keys? You would not believe how many people give us the wrong set of keys.

  • Did you give us the correct license plate number? Again, you wouldn’t believe how often this is wrong. And we put a lot of weight into the license plate number when we’re trying to decipher your chicken scratch.

  • Do you have fuel in your car? In the excitement to get to the river, did you remember to fill up?

  • Is your car safe to drive? We reserve the right to judge your vehicles safety to protect our drivers and other motorists. Common issues are barely functioning brakes, crazy loose steering, and grossly overweight pickup campers. Remember, we are not familiar with your vehicles nuances!

  • Is your trailer safe to tow? Always a good idea to give your trailer the once over when you park it for us. Make sure and look for blown bearings in both hubs, flat tires on your rig and trailer, and ball hood latches that aren’t locked down.
